Evelin Förster is known to the public not only because of her appearances at the cabaret theatres of Berlin but also as a TV actress in Germany. In recent years, however, she has given her heart and attention to the chanson of the 1920s and 1930s. The result of her extensive research work on the role of the woman in this profession (as an actress, composer and love interest) is, apart from an audio book and a monograph, this edition containing a selection of currently little known, buth then very popular chansons.
